NEW ChatGPT Pro: $200 vs $20? šŸ¤”

Massive updates from OpenAI including ChatGPT o1 Full Model

Happy Friday party people! Welcome to the 3rd edition of the Nex Gen AI newsletter.

Each week, I’ll be sharing actionable AI strategies and ideas to help people like yourself be more productive and grow. We’ll also be exploring the latest news from the AI world, and uncovering the best AI tools that will help explode your business.

Friendly notice: This newsletter from time to time may contain affiliate links, which means I will receive a small commissions if you do decide to sign-up. This is by no means expected, but very much appreciated šŸ™.

ChatGPT Pro and ChatGPT o1 Full Model Is Finally Here

Double-bombshell of an announcement earlier by OpenAI where they finally released the full mode version of their reasoning model ChatGPT o1. In addition to this they also announced ChatGPT Pro, a $200 a month subscription to their most advanced reasoning model ever - designed for individuals and companies who use research grade intelligence.

I’ve been testing o1 and it’s much faster that it’s preview-only version. Initial benchmarks were 5x as fast, so far so good. It’s interesting to see the gap in between preview and full o1 benchmarks in the article above which puts o1 as way ahead, but only slightly behind ChatGPT.

My take is that at an eye-watering $200 a month, the Pro upgrade is not yet worth the investment especially considering that we don’t really now what o1 is fully capable of yet. In this tweet here, Sam Altman himself says he only expects a small group of people to full take advantage of ChatGPT Pro. You can watch my initial testing of ChatGPT o1 in the video below where I give you a full rundown, including it’s new mind-blowing image analysis capability.

This Weeks Goodies

I’ve added this week’s Turn ChatGPT Into A High Ticket Affiliate Marketing Business prompts list into the Nex Gen prompt library. I was super-impressed with the output with just a bit of work on the initial prompt and follow-up.

In a nutshell I’ve been using ChatGPT to find untapped high-ticket niches and products on affiliate marketplaces like Amazon, then using matching buyer-intent to put the right products in front of the right people. I go fully into this keyword strategy in the video, do check it out.

Weekly Musing

Today’s OpenAI announcements are the first day of it’s 12 Days of OpenAI event. Each day they will be releasing a new update. However It’s hard to imagine there will be a bigger launch than what we just witnessed, a new image model perhaps? But it seems likely we are edging closer and closer to ChatGPT 5.

How much better can LLM’s truly get? And how long do we have before AI can just ā€˜push-button’ everything?

I think it’s more important now than ever to bullet-proof yourself. Learn the new skills, build a moat around your business or brand and don’t get left behind. It’s adapt or die in this new AI world.

As always I’ll be covering each day of the event on my YouTube channel Nex Gen AI - so stay tuned for daily updates.
