Weekly Musing - AGI in 2025?

Remember when ChatGPT first dropped and everyone thought AGI was just around the corner? Well, with OpenAPI’s announcement of o3 people are once against screaming AGI. The latest developments from major AI labs have been nothing short of mind-blowing. From multimodal models that can process text, images, and code simultaneously to breakthrough developments in reasoning capabilities – the progress is undeniable.

But here's the reality check we all need: While our AI systems are getting increasingly sophisticated at specific tasks, we're still missing that special sauce that makes human intelligence you know... human?

Whether AGI arrives in 2025 or not, one thing's certain - we're living through one of the most exciting periods in history. Now all we need is for AGI to come up with a cure for Tinnitus..hiss.
